An eight years old boy, who just started to drift away from cartoons and into the world of cinema. One evening, He's father played a movie called "Thalapathi", starring the legendary Rajini sir. There’s a scene in that movie where Rajini sir’s friend dies and at that moment, it wasn’t just Rajini sir who was crying, it was also the little boy sitting in front of the television, a boy who had no connection to the film or its actors. That was the moment when that kid understood that this thing called cinema is not just a form of entertainment, it is something beyond it.

And now, that 8 year old boy is 18 and has started The Celluloid Club.
